Kara Gibson

The power of maintaining a strong daily practice was put to the test in July 2015 when Kara was in a motorcycle accident that involved a Nissan Altima rolling over, dragging her and then parking on top of her…after which she was back in the yoga room in under a week! At the time, Kara had been practicing 2-3 hours daily hot yoga after completing Bikram training in Spring 2014. Her curiosity led her to 2,000+ hours of various hatha/vinyasa trainings including The Rocket with David Kyle in Austin and again in Puerto Rico in 2021. Meeting the strong and dedicated practitioners of this style has inspired Kara to focus strongly on The Rocket modality.

Louisiana born, Kara currently lives and teaches in studios around Switzerland, including in Geneva, Lausanne, Nyon and Zurich. Yoga truly is for everyone, and Kara welcomes all opportunities to attest to its healing power.
