Paula Hernández Rocket Certification with David Kyle in Barcelona 2025

Hey!

I’m Paula, a Certified Rocket Vinyasa Teacher based in the beautiful island of Gran Canaria, Spain.

I discovered Rocket in 2023 and immediately fell in love with it, as it gathered all the elements needed to keep me motivated, flexible and strong, both physically and mentally. What had me hooked, was the feeling of energy, aliveness, and bliss after each class, as well as the joy of seeing myself fulfilling personal goals in the asana practice.

While I was living in Madrid, I kept practising with many amazing Rocket teachers and deepened my own practice, while also carried out my first certification to be able to share this passion.

My training path continued and now I gathered 200 hrs of Rocket training including 50 hrs with David Cabezas and Babi Parra (2023), 100 hrs Rocket Vinyasa with David Kyle (2025) and 50 hrs of Mysore training in Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico (February 2025). Now, I teach outdoor Rocket classes in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and look for a space to start teaching regular indoor classes as well.

My teaching philosophy is to support my students in feeling strong and capable of doing whatever they set their minds to, as well as making them feel playful and alive as if we were kids again. I like to embrace self-exploration through the body and the observation of the mind, as what happens on our mat is a reflection of our personalities.
The long and steady journey of the yoga practice teaches us to overcome obstacles and achieve unimaginable things if we believe in ourselves, and the practice of Rocket has helped many to see this inner potential.

As for my classes, I like to get creative and add a flowy and challenging vibe to my sequences coming from my Vinyasa and Mobility Flow background 🙂
