Abdulla Al-Ali
8 Years ago, yoga first came into my life as sanctuary from a hectic schedule, a search for inner peace and balance. It quickly evolved from a personal practice into a journey of profound transformation. I was drawn to its promise of both physical and mental well-being. It taught me to cultivate self-compassion, and to approach challenges with resilience.
Witnessing its positive impact on my own life, I felt compelled to share the transformative power of yoga with others. The more I practiced, the more I felt a desire to guide others on their own journeys of self-discovery.
I believe yoga is a journey of self-discovery and a pathway to connect with inner wisdom. I aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to explore their potential. I view the student-teacher relationship, where I serve as a guide, offering tools and insights, while encouraging students to trust their own intuition and inner knowing.

I have been profoundly influenced by many teachers like Miles Maria Chirculate, and Khem Wambold whose passion for sharing the roots of Rocket yoga continues to inspire my own commitment to integrity and creativity in teaching. My understanding of Rocket Yoga came from Miles Mortensen, Maria Chirculate, and Khem Wambold whose teaching emphasizes the dynamic and playful aspects of the practice. Through their guidance, I’ve learned to appreciate the transformative power of Rocket Yoga, focusing on my physical growth.
With over eight years immersed in the practice and philosophy of yoga, my journey has taken me across the globe, where I have had the privilege of training with diverse teachers and traditions. This extensive travel and training have cultivated a deep, embodied understanding of yoga, far beyond the confines of a studio. These experiences have equipped me with a unique perspective on how to connect with students and guide them through their own personal growth.
In my classes, students can expect a blend of mindful movement and energetic exploration. I approach sequencing with a focus on intelligent alignment and balanced flow, guiding students though postures with clear and concise cues including stories, imagination, and how to send the energy to targeted muscles
Breathwork is an integral part of each class, helping to deepen the practice and cultivate a sense of presence. I include the breathwork either at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the practice to calm down. Also, I often incorporate philosophical insights. Weaving in themes that encourage self- reflection and personal growth. I aim to challenge students to explore their own physical and mental boundaries while providing a supportive and inclusive environment. Hands-on-assists are offered ‘if needed’ or if I feel I can touch them to enhance alignment and deepen the experience. Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to connect with their inner wisdom and listen to their body to cultivate sustainable yoga practice.
My aspiration is that they leave the class not only familiar with philosophical concepts but also possess the ability to analyze complex ideas, construct well-reasoned arguments, and appreciate diverse perspectives. I aim to provide them with skills to navigate the complexities of the world, to think critically about the information they encounter, and to articulate their own thoughts with clarity and conviction. As a teacher, my mission is to cultivate a learning environment where you feel safe to explore your own beliefs, challenge your assumptions, and engage in respectful debate. I want to empower them to become lifelong learners, always questioning, always seeking, and always striving to understand the world and your place within it.
