Sophie Jones

As a student, yoga has been one of my escapes for many years, being lucky enough to practice with instructors from all walks of life, I have experienced many takes on the traditional practice, bringing home with me the pearls of wisdom and knowledge home from many teachers, from far flung places like Bali and Sri Lanka to the most westernised studios in LA and London.

In 2020 I enrolled in my first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, specialising in Vinyasa and Ashtanga in Portugal. Since then I have completed a further 30hrs of Body Smart Yoga with Hiro Landazuri.

I discovered Rocket in 2024 and absolutely fell in love the the practice, and since then completed my 50hr Rocket TT with Kindred under Katrina Rayburn.

As well as teaching yoga I am Qualified Level 3 NASM Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports)

I specialise in helping yoga practitioners build strength away from the mat so they can improve their physical practice and increase their stamina on the mat.

By combining my sports education with the traditional ancient practice, I work to bridge the gap between functional movement to help injury prevention and improve mobility whilst still honouring the intention behind the practice.

You can often find me teaching in local spaces, and hosting my own wellness retreats which combine both fitness and yoga.
