My journey into yoga began through my father, who introduced the practice to me. At first, it was simply something I explored out of curiosity, but it quickly became a powerful tool for transformation. Over time, yoga helped me shift from a mindset of survival into one of truly living, with more awareness, more intention, and a deeper connection to myself and those around me. This personal evolution is what inspires me to share the practice with others.
What drives me to teach is the energy that forms when people come together to move, breathe, and connect. I’m a very social person, bubbly, cheerful, and deeply energized by being with others. My classes are shaped by this natural enthusiasm. I love creating a warm, empowering space where people can feel great, not just physically, but also emotionally and energetically. For me, the exchange of energy between teacher and students is what makes every class alive and meaningful.
I believe yoga is for everyone. In my classes, I’m intentional about creating a space that’s inclusive and welcoming—where no one feels excluded, judged, or left out. With my academic background in social and cultural studies, I’m especially sensitive to dynamics around access, safety, and representation. I’m also committed to continuously learning how to be more trauma-informed and respectful of all bodies and identities.
Even when we’re playing with challenging sequences, I keep things light, empowering, and grounded in breath. Breathwork is an important element in my classes, whether through pranayama, intentional transitions, or moments of stillness. I’m also becoming more educated around women’s hormonal cycles and how they affect our energy, which is something I always honor in my teaching, offering options and encouraging students to meet themselves where they are.
My passion for mobility and healthy aging also plays a central role in my teaching. I’m especially inspired by Budokon Mobility and other functional movement approaches that support long-term joint health, strength, and adaptability. I see yoga as a lifelong practice that evolves with us, and I’m committed to helping students build sustainable movement patterns that support them for years to come.
I completed my 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2024 through the Vinyasa Yogashala from Rishikesh, India. In June 2025, I went on to complete my first Rocket Yoga Teacher Training (50 hours) with Ambra Vallo in Milan. Ambra’s teaching profoundly influenced how I guide others. Her clarity and depth helped me understand the importance of explaining why we move a certain way, not just how. That clarity, intention, and respect for individual needs is something I carry into every class I lead.
My classes are playful, spontaneous, and breath-centered. I always incorporate breathwork in some form, creating space for students to reconnect with themselves and regulate their nervous systems through conscious breathing. While I love to introduce a bit of challenge, I always offer alternatives and encourage students to listen deeply to what feels right in their bodies.
One of the things I value most about yoga is how it teaches us to meet challenges with awareness and grace. Whether it’s a moment of physical intensity or a wave of emotion in stillness, yoga gives us the tools to stay present, to breathe, and to respond rather than react. That lesson has changed the way I live my life, and it’s one of the most powerful things I hope to pass on. In the end, my purpose as a teacher is simple: to create a space where people feel supported enough to try something new, to explore their edges, and to carry those discoveries with them beyond the mat. Yoga has helped me live more consciously and courageously, and I’m here to share that possibility with others.
