Beatriz Carreno
Beartiz Carreno Rocket Vinyasa Certification with David Kyle at Miami Life Center 2025
Everyone calls me Bea. I’m a Venezuelan artist, designer, and art director who found in yoga a path to authenticity, self-love, focus, creativity, and inner strength. I began practicing more than eight years ago with Pedro Luis Otero in Caracas. What started as a way to add stretching and mobility to my fitness side led me to design Pedro’s first book and, at the same time, complete my first 200-hour Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with him. I started teaching right away to friends, family and a couple of estudios in Caracas. Thanks to Pedro, I discovered my passion for Rocket Vinyasa, adding over 150 hours of study in this system with Pedro, David Kyle, Thiago Rocha, Jaimis Huff, and also Ricardo Martin (Bright Yoga School)
Three years ago, I completed my 300-hour Advanced Sadhana Hatha Raja Yoga training with Xochitl Correa and Alexandra (Nena) Knafo, deepening my understanding of the subtle and energetic layers of practice.
Four years ago, I began teaching Rocket Vinyasa Foundations at Namo Sanctuary School of Sound, where I also started exploring the transformative power of sound healing — especially with gongs — and continued to expand my studies in pranayama and meditation. Today, sound is fully integrated into my offerings: every class ends with a deep sonic relaxation with gongs.
I teach because yoga transformed the way I live and see things — it taught me the power of presence, the importance of quieting the mind to see clearly and create with freedom, to move through life with intention, and to unlock compassion, love, and resilience toward myself. I want to keep sharing those values with others.
I currently teach in Miami, at Namo Sanctuary (my home studio for the past few years), private clients and events, at my house, and through my platform Respira y Fluye, offering Rocket Vinyasa and other practices that weave breathwork, mindful movement, meditation, and sound. You’ll find me teaching on weekday afternoons-night, and on Saturday mornings through noon. My classes are for those ready to deepen their practice, athletes seeking better mobility, range of motion, focus, and recovery, and anyone looking to enhance creativity, mental health, and overall wellness in a fun and inclusive way.
I’m excited to keep sharing this practice through private events, retreats, corporate wellness programs. I feel more inspired than ever to keep spreading the love for this practice.
JAI!
