Erica Baca

Erica took her first yoga class in 2010 and became more regular with her practice in 2015, which helped her find balance throughout grad school while working full-time. She completed her 200-HR teacher training in 2019 and since, has received certifications in: Level 1 Rocket Teacher (50-HR with David Kyle and Blanco Yoga in Mexico City; 50-HR with Pat McLeaf and Bluebird Sky Yoga, Washington, DC), Trauma-Informed Yoga (50-HR with BSY), Mobility House: Programming and Sequencing Intensive (30-HR through the Roots Love Yoga School), Functional Anatomy & Movement (4-HR course with Irene Pappas) and Yoga Anatomy Academy Mentorship Program with Dr. Ariele Foster (30-HR). She is currently taking Adell Bridges’ NeuroYoga Teacher Training (80-HR) with the goal of further understanding the role of the nervous system in movement.

Erica believes yoga not only builds awareness, confidence and strength, but also community showing us how we are all connected. Her goal is to create a safe practice for her students and an empowering space that you can take with you off the mat.
