Katie Fulford-Smith

I first came to yoga in 2014. An avid runner, I was stiff as a board and needed help! Practicing at the time just 2-3 times a week, something inside began to shift and it hasn’t stopped since.

My personal practice today is rooted in Ashtanga but I have formal training also in Hatha Vinyasa, completing my first 200 hours in 2018.

My teaching style blends the structure and discipline of Ashtanga with fluidity and expression of Hatha Vinyasa to create strong, mindful classes that balance movement, breath, and focus. I also have a deep appreciation for slower practices including Yin and Yoga Nidra, and I enjoy adapting classes to the needs and energy of the group where I can incorporate these modalities. My aim is to create classes that are grounding, strong, and accessible…and fun.

At the end of the day, it’s just yoga.
