Immy Wood
Immy’s Grandma taught her about yoga from a young age. Some of her earliest memories are being taken on guided meditations by her. Through her Immy developed a lifelong love for yoga and understanding of what a powerful tool it is to guide you through life.
Having spent a lot of her early years dancing and in the performing arts, she came to the asana practice in her twenties. She quickly became addicted to the positive benefits she saw across all her life. With a high energy and fizzy brain she loved how grounded she felt after practice.
She deep dived into Hatha and then Iyengar cultivating a strong solo practice. She didn’t step foot in a studio until her mid-twenties and when she did, she discovered all the different weird and wonderful styles of yoga they offered. She was instantly draw to Rocket, the playful element; a space which as adults we don’t get to spend enough time cultivating.
Three years ago, she completed a 200-hour TT in Ashtanga Vinyasa at Sampoorna in India, and this year the first part of her Rocket TT with Leon London.
Yoga has had such a positive impact on her life Immy loves to share it and is excited to share this uplifting, playful and energising practice with you.
