Ella Gim Rocket Vinyasa Certification with Ambra in Doha 2025

Yoga has been part of my life since I was 11, though it began simply as a form of exercise. In my early 20s, I returned to the practice, and it quickly became much more than movement. Yoga evolved into a daily ritual that grounds and renews me—physically, emotionally, and mentally. After each practice, I feel as though I’ve received a whole new soul. The chronic neck and shoulder pain I once suffered from has nearly disappeared, and I feel more peaceful, patient, and connected to myself. That deep inner shift inspired me to become a yoga teacher. I want to share the healing, strength, and clarity that yoga has given me with others.

As a teacher, I believe instruction should come from genuine experience and embodied understanding. I devote time to self-practice and continued learning because I believe students deserve a guide who truly walks the path. I see the student–teacher relationship not as a hierarchy, but as a shared journey. My role is to guide, not impose—to offer direction and energy that help students explore their own bodies, breath, and inner wisdom.

Training & Certifications
• 200-Hour YTT in Vinyasa and Ashtanga – Yoga Union, Bali (2024)
• Rocket Yoga Training – with Ambra Vallo (2025)

My training at Yoga Union with Himanshu Bahuguna provided a strong foundation in Vinyasa and Ashtanga, emphasizing both discipline and creative expression. My journey into Rocket Yoga has been especially transformative. In 2025, I completed Rocket Yoga training with Ambra Vallo, whose teaching opened up new dimensions in both movement and philosophy.

One of my greatest influences is my Rocket mentor, Maria Chirculete. Her energy is both radiant and grounded—beautiful and powerful at once. Her deep knowledge of Rocket and Dharma Yoga has left a lasting impact on me. The way she integrates spiritual depth with physical strength and freedom has shaped how I approach both practice and teaching. I carry her example of lightness, integrity, and authenticity into every class I lead.

I’m especially passionate about teaching Rocket Yoga. My classes are energetic, breath-led, and built around the traditional Rocket sequences (I, II, and III). Each class begins with breathwork to help students arrive fully—physically and mentally. I offer hands-on assists when appropriate and provide 2–3 options for key poses to support practitioners at all levels. My cueing is clear and intentional, always aligned with the breath and rhythm, allowing students to explore their edge with confidence and presence.

Beyond yoga, I bring a diverse movement background to my teaching. I’ve practiced ballet for five years, which has sharpened my awareness of alignment, posture, and grace. As a child, I earned a black belt in taekwondo, which cultivated discipline, body control, and mental focus early in life. Over the years, I’ve explored many yoga styles—including Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Aerial, Dharma, and Rocket—each adding depth and flexibility to my teaching toolkit.

In every class I lead, my goal is simple: I want students to leave feeling better than when they arrived. I hope they feel stronger, lighter, and more present—energized not just in their bodies, but in their hearts. I want them to walk away feeling as if they’ve taken a meaningful step toward themselves. I hope they look forward to their next class—not just for the movement, but for the connection, clarity, and space it provides.

Yoga has transformed my life in countless ways, and my mission is to help others discover that same power in their own lives—to find stillness through movement, strength through breath, and joy through the journey inward.
