Gaetano Montecasino Rocket Vinyasa Certification with Ambra 2025
My journey into yoga began alongside my path as a professional dancer. Movement has always been my way of expressing myself, first through figure roller skating in my teenager years, then through ballet and contemporary dance. These practices taught me discipline, grace and dedication, qualities that now support my yoga practice and what I share.
At the beginning, I saw yoga as another kind of physical training. but everything changed when I discovered Jivamukti yoga while living in Berlin. That Moment made my practice more regular, more internal, more presence and self acceptance in new way.
Teaching still feels like something we do together, not something I give to others. I see myself more as a facilitator than someone with all the answers. I am not trying to reach enlightenment, I simply try to share what I have experienced and embodied in my own practice. Asana, pranayama and meditation have helped me with on and off the mat, and I hope they can support others too.
Every class I share starts with a breath and centering, to create more awareness and presence before we begin the physical part. My goal is to offer strong, clear and grounded classes where people can explore and grow in a safe and honest way.
Rocket Yoga found me at the right moment. Practicing under the guidance of Ambra Vallo has been a big inspiration. Her experience, precision and passion pushed me to just complete my first Rocket inspired TT (August 2025). Right now the set structure of Rocket sequences is exactly what I need. it gives me a clear container to grow within, a way to deepen my practice and stay connected to the process, without getting too lost in creative side of sequencing.
As I enter to this lineage, I want to stay close to the roots of Rocket Yoga and teach the classical series with integrity and curiosity. My main focus now is to grow in these practices and start adding Rocket classes to my schedule, to experiment the practice also from other perspective.
I am also really passionate about handstands. it’s a part of the practice that I love to study, and I am always collecting and refining drills that I bring into my classes.
I am deeply grateful to be part of this community and to keep walking this exciting new path, sharing what I learn, and learning though sharing. With deep respect I thank the Rocket yoga community and its founder Larry Shultz, for creating and passing on a practice that continue to inspire, challenge, and support many of us.
