Marlene Romo Rocket Vinyasa Certification with Mariana Cisneros in The Yoga Lab GDL 2025
Yoga came into my life during one of my most difficult moments, when I was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. I discovered that the practice not only supported me through my physical crises, but also carried me through my most challenging emotional processes. It was then that I understood I had to share this path with others.

My purpose as a teacher is to show that yoga always adapts: to those living with illnesses, injuries, physical limitations, or even those who believe yoga is not for them. Through discipline and consistency, the practice can become a medicine for the body, mind, and spirit.

The devotion and trust I have found in Bhakti Yoga remind me that everything in life has a purpose and a lesson, and it is from that place that I guide and sustain my teaching.

My journey as a teacher began with a 200-hour training in Vinyasa and Meditation with Ana Sofía Rosas in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Some time later, I felt the call to go deeper and completed a second 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training with Viridiana Guzmán, founder of Yoga Lab.

Over time, my practice led me toward more dynamic and challenging styles, which inspired me to complete a 50-hour Rocket Yoga training with Brendan Smullen and Ricardo del Real. I am currently continuing to expand my knowledge through a 50-hour training with Mariana Cisneros, also in Guadalajara.

My personal practice is rooted mainly in Rocket and Ashtanga, although I have openly explored other styles such as Vinyasa, and more recently Dharma Yoga under the guidance of Adriana Cabrera. On my Ashtanga path, my key teachers have been Ana Paula Preciado and Brendan Smullen.

I have complemented my studies with workshops with Pablo Alvarado and Viridiana Guzmán, and I recognize that my main guides so far have been Viridiana Guzmán, Ana Paula Preciado, Brendan Smullen, and now, having met Mariana Cisneros, I hope to continue learning from her as she becomes a significant teacher in my journey.

I currently teach Vinyasa and Rocket Yoga at Yoga Lab, and this year I embarked on a new stage of my path by becoming a partner at Yoga Lab, a space that represents both my spiritual and professional home.
