Lorenza Trapero Rocket Vinyasa Certification with Mariana Cisneros in The Yoga Lab GDL 2025

At first, my yoga was the classic 60-minute gym vinyasa classes—gentle flows that, at the time, felt incredibly challenging. Slowly, yoga pulled me in further, until I finally signed up for my first 200-hour teacher training.

On the very first day, I stepped into a Rocket Yoga class—and that was it, I was hooked. The practice was fierce, with peak poses every five minutes. In contrast to my previous experience, where we would build up for 45 minutes just to reach one single peak pose, Rocket felt like we were having peak poses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Rocket also made me aware of my own asymmetries—stronger, more flexible, or more balanced on one side than the other. I was fascinated not only by the physical challenge but also by the energy in the room: light, joyful, intense, and deeply inspiring. That’s when I fell in love with the practice, and with the complete presence it brings me into.

After my 200-hour YTT, I took my first Rocket training with Mariana and Manuel at Punto Yoga—it was the most fun I’ve ever had! I laughed endlessly and learned hands-on adjustments like never before.

My second Rocket training was with Mark Hanuman at The Yoga Lab, a beautiful and philosophical approach to the practice. Still intense, but also with the wisdom that Rocket is something we want to sustain over a lifetime—sometimes strong, sometimes soft.

My third training was again with Mariana at The Yoga Lab—an incredible teacher, loving, fun, and authentic. Each training, each class, has deepened not only my physical practice but my love for sharing Rocket Yoga with others.
