Sofia Lupo
Sofia Lupo has a degree in Physical Education. At the age of 18, she finished her first Pilates course, began teaching and continued doing different specializations in therapeutic Pilates during the following years. She also worked as a school teacher for 8 years. In 2010 she opened her first Functional Pilates studio, and the second in 2012, which she directed and manage for 11 years. In 2013, she took her first yoga class, which she considers as her awakening call. We are not just a physical body; and our habits and pathologies are intimately related and preceded by our emotions. Her passion and love for this practice, in addition to her philosophy led her to carry out several trainings. In 2015, she finished the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher training and studied the Yoga Sutras in Ashtanga Baires. She took the breathing courses and Meditation Instructorate at the Foundation ‘The Art of Living’, and opened the first Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga school in San Miguel, Buenos Aires. Aires. In 2016, she travelled to México where she did the second teaching Training in ‘Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga GAVY 200’ with Michael Gannon and began teaching in different cities of that country. In 2017, she made her first trip to Mysore and practiced at KPJAYI. During 2020, she made a specialization in back and spine in ‘Therapeutic PhysiomYoga’ (yoga together with physiotherapy and osteopathy)
Morover, She had the opportunity to practice and participate in seveal workshops with well-known teachers such as Dena Kingsberg, Mathew Vollmer, Regina Ehlers, Harmony Slater, Wayne Krassner, Michael Gannon, Laia Yañez, Borja Fuentes, Anand Zorzo among others.
In 2021 she started practicing Rocket and she finished the Level 1 with David Kyle
