I discovered yoga back in 2010. At first, as a complement to other physical activities such as running, which I have been doing for more than 15 years. I have always enjoyed moving my body, not only as a form of physical exercise, but also as therapy, meditation and self-care. It was in 2022 when I shifted from looking at the practice as a complement, and more as and end itself and a way of living. After that moment, I decided to complete my first 200 hour Teacher Training in Hatha-Vinyasa, with the purpose of deepening my practice, where I acquired a greater understanding of the yoga philosophy, body mechanics, asana and pranayama.
Later on, I took the path of becoming a Rocket® certified teacher by completing 50 hours of training with Leon London, in Liverpool, UK, and 50 hours with David Kyle, in Mexico City. Both of these teachers becoming a great source of inspiration and influence in my teaching style and personal practice.
I am profoundly passionate about the practice, primarily focusing on Rocket, Dharma and Ashtanga. I have had the opportunity of practicing and learning from amazing teachers, such as Mariana Cisneros in Mexico City and David Swenson, Stewart Gilchrist and Emi Tull in London.
I am amazed by the effects of the yoga practice in the human body, mind and spirit. This practice has taken me to places I never thought possible, and I am thrilled to share this passion with anyone who is willing to give it a try, always happy to build a community where possible. As K. Pattabhi Jois used to say, “practice and all is coming”!
