Sonja Aritonovska Rocket Vinyasa Certification with David Kyle in Barcelona 2025

Yoga has been part of my life from a young age. Over the years, my practice has shifted and evolved alongside me. One thing has remained constant: yoga is both a source of strength and softness — a space where I continue to grow, learn, and transform through its teachings.

My first encounter with yoga came unexpectedly, when my mother brought home a yoga book. I was only 16, and although I knew little about yoga then, that moment sparked something in me — perhaps it happened for a reason. At 18, I began practicing regularly with a yoga teacher from my small town. She was a great inspiration and a role model during that time. I still carry the memory of those early sessions with deep gratitude.

At 21, I started traveling and moving frequently. While it became harder to maintain a consistent physical practice, I never stopped thinking of myself as a yogi. I kept searching for teachers and studios that resonated with me, nurturing my connection to yoga in new ways.

In 2020, I returned to a more intense and consistent practice. That inner calling led me to my first teacher training in Naples, Italy. Since then, my path as both a student and teacher has continued to unfold.

I’ve been teaching yoga since 2021, shortly after completing my first 200-hour training.
Every class I lead, every training I attend, and every moment on the mat continues to deepen my understanding of this practice — one that has shaped who I am and continues to inspire who I am becoming.
